To start off, you need to first have a double boiler and melt the chocolate morsels along with the vegetable shortenings. Do not directly boil it in water. Keep on stirring well until the chocolate morsels completely melt and the mixture becomes very smooth. Remove the mixture from heat and then pour half of the mixture into the candy moulds so that half of the moulds get filled with the candy mixture. Refrigerate the mixture for a while and remove it once it starts solidifying.
Take the remaining mixture you prepared and heat it under a low heat with the caramels and the chopped peanuts. Add butter and water to the mixture. Spread it evenly. Insert candy sticks into each candy moulds if you prefer. Chill the candy moulds till the candy gets completely solidified.
